Intern Position DescriptionPROGRAM ASSISTANT Purpose: Interns are needed to be a part of Wall Street Rising, which is a vital resource for promoting, rebuilding, visiting, living and working in Lower Manhattan.
Organization description: Wall Street Rising is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the vibrancy and vitality that existed in Lower Manhattan prior to the devastating events of September 11, 2001 . Our mission is to promote the area as a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week destination for businesses, residents, employees and visitors by creating and implementing community programs that plant new seeds for the neighborhood's economic, residential, and cultural growth. Position description: Interns at Wall Street Rising will assist the development and programming departments in all matters, including the planning and staffing of fundraising events, planning community programs, researching potential donors, preparing funding proposals, and performing administrative tasks as necessary.
